This 78 Sportster was purchased brand new, completely taken apart and the chassis was taken to Arlen Ness for all of the modifications. He also did all of the tin work.
The bike belonged to a friend of mine. He got the chassis back, had the bike painted and put it back together. The bike was in Easyriders magazine in 1979 or 1980. The bike was called Sweet and Simple.
When the bike was parked in 2004 it ran fine. I have not personally tried to get it running, nor am I going to.
