Authentic 2000 Dragon West Coast Chopper. Built by Jesse James in Long Beach, California at the infamous West Coast Choppers Shop. This custom bike showcases the West Coast Chopper Iron Cross that includes Jesse James signature.
This build features custom paint job done by Tom Prewitt (Monster Garage) in his Brea, California Shop, “Damon’s Motorcycle Creations”. The seat is a one-of-a-kind created and hand crafted by Danny Gray. All of the tins-fenders, splash guard, tanks (including custom oil tank) were hand made by Jesse.
The custom frame sports a 3″ stretch and a rake angle of 38 degrees. Motor components were hand selected for performance and durability. The motor features a bulletproof Delkron engine case, forged S&S crank, rods, pistons and S&S flywheels. Compression is 10:1 and cubic displacement is 96″.
Lifter tappets are Jim’s Hydrosolid’s, Dave Mackey Engineering .580 lift cam, ported and polished heads, sporting roller tappets. Handling the oil is a Pro Flow billet oil pump. Oil hoses are Russell “Pro Classic” high performance nylon braided hose. Fuel delivery is via S & S Super “G” carburetor and exhaust is by Jesse James “Hell Bent” pipes which are stepped for performance and great sound.
Wheels are 18” Akront alloy with stainless polished spokes and nipples. Rubber is 100%. Front end is a Storz inverted which was sent back to them for installation of new fork seals and oil in 2013. Stopping power up front includes twin rotors equipped with 4 piston PM calipers as well as a single 4 piston rear.
