What we have here is my version of a 70s style chopper that I built for myself. I started the build in the fall of 2012 and completed the bike in the summer of 2013. I started by building the motor. Its a 96″ shovelhead- Ultima cases, ultima rotating assembly, ross forged pistons, ultima high volume oil pump, comp v-thunder 4050 cam, Timken bearings, ultima jugs, S&S dual plug heads, S&S intake, polished aluminum rockerΒ boxes, crane solid lifters and time saver pushrods, Joe Hunt H4 auto advance magneto, ultima charging system, Mikuni HSR45 carb. Trans- RevTech 4 speed kicker transmission. Primary- 3″ BDL belt drive with pro clutch, 530 Oring chain. Frame- Cycle one manufacturing, Denver tribute frame- 8″ up stretch, 2″ out stretch in front, 2″ out stretch in back, 45 degrees of rake. Front end- Denvers choppers 22″ over wishbone springer, dna caliper, mini apes, Dixie rectangle headlights, mini speedometer. Wheels- 40 spoke ultima wheels. Avon speedmaster 21″ up front and Avon 16″ MKII out back. Shovelhead banana style rear caliper. Paughco pipes and fishtail tips with KW baffles installed. Coffin fuel tank and 5″ wide trailer fender in the rear, no front fender. Easyrider, captain America style sissy bar, original 70s Cheetah king and queen seat, bullet tail light, chain tensioner (to prevent chain slap on the frame), no battery, switch under seat to turn headlights on and off, 3qt turned aluminum oil tank, remote oil filter, keyed ignition switch, rear passenger pegs, no front fender, no chain guard, no primary guard, no turn signals, no horn- most non essential things do not exist on this bike, just like back in the 70s. The bike literally has 4 wires on it and no battery. Kick only starter. 10.25:1 Compression ratio. Bike starts in 2-3 kicks cold and 1 kick warm/hot.
